EFATP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Scholarship and bursary opportunities are available in the form of vocational and tertiary training, many students cannot afford the cost. We have heard stories of many, willing students who have had to quit without completing high or secondary education and vocational or tertiary & college educational, because of inadequate funds or lack of funds.

EFATP Kenya runs two programmes to create opportunities through the provision of scholarships, when poverty would otherwise force them to abandon their studies.

The “The radiant & The crystal ” Scholarship Program were established to provide assistance, support and increase educational opportunities and access to children and youths who lack the economic power to afford tuition fees and costs.

The radiant bursary fund - Secondary scholarship program

Laptops for Learning

Donate a new or gently used laptop/PC to EFATP and we will hand deliver it to our students in rural Kenya. We are creating a computer lab at our ICT Rural centre and kariobagi slum centre in Kenya, to allow our students to connect with the world and learn career and life-benefiting computer skills. Computer technology is a natural complement to a comprehensive secondary education, and it is an important field to encourage in developing ,developing countries.

Your in-kind donation of a laptop is 100% tax deductible and will directly benefit our students in rural kenya. We are also requesting that laptops/desktops be no more than 4 years old (2005 and newer). Please contact us if you would like more information: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. PROGRAM POWERED BY ICT - EFATP Kenya

Knowledge in computers in most rural schools in Kenya is a mirage. Children/Youth"s in most of these schools and communities haven't seen a computer physically, they might have only read of them, or seen ,their pictures in books.

EFATP is running a Basic Skills computer training courses for the community and the rural area around Nyakach, machakos,Mbale and Bondo.

These area identified peoples are so behind to such an extent the people cannot get jobs because they are not computer literate.
