 Who EFATP Supports Today

The students who are currently being provided educational support through bursary and scholarship program opportunities .These are exemplary of the type of students EFATP strives to support. They were selected due to their vulnerable situations, their level of achievement in school, and their desire to continue their education. These are their stories: 


JUDITH OUMA: Dandora secondary school-EFATP scholarship programme has helped me to pay my school fees at Dandora secondary school .My father irons people cloth and Roast maize to earn a living and provide for our family needs. My mother is jobless .My two big sisters and a brother were not able to continue with the education because of lack of school fees despite having performed well in kcpe.for now I am the only one who is blessed to be in high school.EFATP has made me fulfill my dreams of completing my high school Education.

I would like to take this opportunity to say how much thankful to EFATP Scholarship program for their support. My son can now go to school without any more problems.  To date EFATP Kenya has:

Delivered  ksh.600,000 worth of uniform to thousands of needy, deserving and vulnerable children across the country schools and orphanges

Delivered  ksh. 500,000 worth of books and learning materials to thousands of deserving orphans and vulnerable children and schools.

Provided scholarships and bursaries to students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend high school.

Purchased textbooks and funded teacher employemnt through Adopt a teacher programme to improve the quality of education in slum and rural schools

Worked with Nairobi slum school children to teach them about the educational needs of extremely poor children around the and give them an opportunity to make a difference through community service projects.

We do appreciate the kind gesture EFATP is doing and has done to needy & most vulnerable children in Makongeni.Heshima is surrounded by 3 slums and most children come from the most poorest families in Kenya. We once again appreciate the foundation supporters for retaining these needy children in schools by providing essential school needs.
